Tompkins Square Park

Postby MinPinRocco » Thu Sep 23, 2010 12:22 pm

Rocco loves going to this dog park. He's about 25lbs so he can go in either the small dog OR big dog off-leash areas. In the big dog part, he likes to be an instigator and nip at big dawgs so they chase him, but he really prefers the small dog area. Since he's an in-between size, owners of teacup-sized dogs get really nervous :???: when they see energetic Rocco bouncing in.

But I haven't brought RocRoc to the park in a few months because he came home with a skin infection the last time he went. It's a shame. He loves playing with other dogs but I don't want to put him at risk of getting sick again.

That's a total bummer about your pup getting a skin infection. I live in NYC too and love to go to that park to watch the big and small dogs - better than TV! I have cats, but love all animals! Well...most anyway!
