Bacterial Pneumonia

My 7 month old bulldog was just diagnosed with Bacterial Pneumonia. Has anybodys dog had this before? How long did it take them to get over? How long till the meds kicked in? Our little guy is so sad and its breaking our hearts!

I think that if it is diagnosed in a very initial stage than it will be cured very soon.It depends on the amount of infection which is caused.
